Prior to relocating to Asia in the mid-1990s, James spent time in a United Kingdom Government role specializing in bi-lateral relations between the UK and Central and Eastern Europe.
With a consulting career in Asia spanning twenty plus years and, residing in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Bangkok, James has acquired an extensive understanding of issues surrounding global mobility, initially as the owner of a Hong Kong-headquartered executive search company, working with many multinational companies around the world.
After his business was acquired by a global top five firm, James settled on a broader consulting career, capitalizing on his wide range of contacts to assist companies with market-entry and business development in Asia. Involvement in the area of “Citizenship by Investment” was a natural progression and, it is through this that James came into contact with the Government of Vanuatu to support the launch of their 2017 “Development Support Program” (DSP), and the growth of the Vanuatu Information Centre (VIC) network.
James has a key role in developing strategic Investment-Migration Industry relationships on behalf of the DSP, as well as supporting the Vanuatu Government in seeking greater opportunities internationally for Investment, bi-lateral trade and inbound tourism. He is currently planning the 2018 opening of a VIC in London to provide support to Vanuatu in the markets of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
James is originally from the UK and a graduate of Brunel University (WLI).
