Served at the Ministry’s HQ, at the Deputy Minister’s office until (1985 – 89), as First Counsellor at the Directorate for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the Council of Europe (1999), as Deputy Head at the Directorate for Justice, Home Affairs & Schengen (2000), as Director for European Integration and Economic and Monetary Policy (2008), as Director for Justice, Home Affairs & Schengen (2009 – 2011) and as Director for Common Foreign and Security Policy and Political Cooperation of the European Union (2015 – 2017).
Deputy Head of Mission at the Greek Embassies in Dublin (1993 – 1996) and Buenos Aires (1997 – 1999).
Consul in Perth, Western Australia (1989 – 1993), Consul General in Bucharest (2001 – 2003) and Consul General in Sydney (2004 – 2007).
